The devs acknowledged there is an issue with *display* where queues show no people (it's even in the patch notes). They said this does not at all affect queues.
The problem is that queues are taking way too long for ex roulette / void ark (and perhaps diadem?) when they shouldn't - queueing at prime time, especially as a needed job. And troubling that people can queue by selecting a new dungeon just fine.
I've basically wasted hours of my time today waiting for the expert queue. I love this game, but this making it as enjoyable as staring at a wall.
Just to be clear: It's very unlikely Void Ark tank queues are a bug at all. Census data has put tank players around 20% of the population. For a 1:1:2 (= 2:2:4) composition this is pretty low, but for a 1:2:5 composition, it's actually pretty high... so extended wait times would be expected.
It's also possible we had a huge surge of healers for EX roulette but that seems unlikely when single queues are much, much faster.
Today's leveling roulette results: first alt close to 30 min and second alt 98 min (both were around lvl 28 casters). I am wondering if the queue can pop when you switch classes during the queue. For the second case I was working on the Hildabrand quest chain while waiting. The queue finally popped about 10 min or so after I switched back to the class I queued with. (For both cases the ave queue time was always showing between 5-20 min.)

Expert roulette does seem to be broken in some way.
It takes ages to queue as a healer (my current queue is 55 minutes elapsed, with average wait time 10 minutes).
This is fairly consistent that the average wait time shown is short, but it takes a huge amount of time to actually get in.
I've manage to get in to roulette a couple of times, each around 20 mins, and given up another couple of times at over 45 mins.
My speculation is that in their changes to duty finder they've made is so that people queuing for individual dungeons have priority over those in roulette, and have overdone it.
Thus if there is a steady flow of players queuing individually for the expert dungeons (as there probably will be currently with people new to the dungeons), then those queuing for roulette never get in unless they are a tank.
This would be consistent with the display: if the average wait time includes those queuing manually then it would be quite short, but those queuing for roulette will have a much longer (if ever) wait.
Greetings,
While queue times have increased, we have seen no indication that the Duty Finder is experiencing any matching issues since the release of Patch 3.1. For the Void Ark specifically, we're seeing longer wait times for tanks and healers. As Void Ark offers iLv 200 gear, we assume that many players are queuing up to earn gear for their secondary roles which seems to often be tanks. For now, we would suggest forming a full party via Party Finder, or as an alliance, to help alleviate this for the time being.
Also, as mentioned in the Patch 3.1 notes, currently there is a known issue with the Duty Finder display where each of the roles are showing up as 0. Please note that this is only a display error, and the matching process is functioning correctly. The dev. team is currently investigating this issue.
We'll continue to monitor the situation and if we spot any issues or irregularities, we'll be sure to follow up.

Love how the issue is expert roulette and ya'll are talking about Void Ark. Thanks, I guess?
Except that nobody joins the Party Finder group because they can get instant queues going in solo. Do you guys actually test playing the game when you release new content, or just look at numbers on a computer screen all day? Might be time to hire a QA team. Even DPS queues don't approach 4 hours for played content, while it is doing so for tanks. Even during prime times of the day!Greetings,
