Is the Duty Finder working as it should?

I qued into the Diadem last night with another DPS friend and a Tank friend. 45 min into the "8 min wait", and we literally just had one other person in the que. I half figured that this was purely a Diadem issue, caused by the 2 hour lockout from when you first entered the previous one, keeping the number of players searching for groups low, but after looking at this thread, I'm not quite as sure.....

Though, to be fair, those "average wait times" have never even been close to accurate, except on rare occasion when it's really popular content at prime time and says "less than 5 min". They really need to look into how the "average" is calculated if nothing else. My guess is that it's adding people who go in as full parties, or as mostly formed parties, rather than taking a more realistic average for the role you're going in as solo.....

I should not have 30 min+ waits as a healer. Something is definitely up with the Duty Finder.

Okay, I can confirm the roulettes are screwed up. Expert roulette as healer, 40 minutes, no pop. Queued for them individually, popped in 3 minutes and 30 seconds. This needs fixed ASAP.

I normally get in expert roulette in 5 minutes as a healer. it took an hour yesterday during prime time. Today I'm at half an hour with no pop yet.

I know DPS have higher wait times but it says Average 11m and I've been in queue for 40m.

I am having the same issue. It is taking roughly 40 minutes to get into a duty.

yep, same problem here. I used to wait an average of 5-20 minutes for roulettes, it's a busy/full server so dps times weren't too bad, but since 3.1 I've literally been logging off in disgust after an hour and a half of doing nothing but waiting in DF. (I'll wait about 35-40 mins, try a different roulette and wait another 35-40 mins then give up). The DF never seems to show anything but 0/1 0/1 0/2 so it doesn't even show me as queued, let alone anyone else.

quite frustrating, I'd like to play, but it's become an impossible waste of time.

The queues seem pretty buggy. I know when I queued for leveling roulette earlier today that it took about 50 minutes for the queue to pop. I queued up as a level 26 Thaumaturge on an alt and then switched to one of her higher level jobs to do the Vanu Vanu dailies. Completed all of them with the queue claiming it was going to take 5-15 min during the course of that 50 min. Queue finally popped shortly after I switched back to the thaum job. Friend reports that he was in leveling roulette on a low level job for over 40 min before he gave up.
