Is the Duty Finder working as it should?

Throwing my hat in with the people having roulette issues. Tried to join a leveling roulette on my ARC, waited upwards for 40 minutes until I finally got a pop. Decided to try some science and specific queue for five low level dungeons, ended up getting inside in less then a minute.

So yeah, I definitely think there's something up with the roulette's right now.

So far they refuse to discuss anything concrete about the way the Duty Finder works. You will use it and like it attitude has been prevalent for a long time. I don't understand why they can't say it does X and X please live with it. That I can respect even if I disagree. Instead we get silence and wasted time.

It could be that it can't handle the extra calculations, since people are reporting that bypassing the roulette puts them right in. Oh and everything looks fine on there end as well can't forget that.

Wow. Those wait times are really short!

The aforementioned unusual wait times of 30 to 45 min, with the display indicating a 5 min wait.

My DF wait times have been consisting of a wait of 4 hours where it says an hour WA, and a a few more at 7 hour wait for a 30 minute expected time. These times were with a bard.

Guess it's not working as expected for me as well.

It could be that it's matching premade groups quickly, since there aren't many people solo queueing? It also could be that the pool of people to draw from is extremely small since most people are spamming diadem right now?

That is my point. Do you know is that the reason? Do you know how it picks people. Is it dropping people into dead lobbies and bypassing them when a new semi formed party ques up. Is it still prioritizing range and melee matches over double?

They have a lot to answer for. That was just off the top of my head. I am sure we could probably make at least another 10 things that are dropping people that SE poor coding may be responsible for. Yet they refuse to own up to the issues that the finder has. Instead of fluff Q and A sessions/translations. Maybe they could address some more fundamental issues with the game. This thread not being the place to bring them up.

I qued for Expert and dindt find anything.. but when i tryed to single que for the new Dungeons I got an insta invite as DD.

Question: What data center are you guys on? Lower level roulettes are fine on Primal data center, and going in paired is fine to higher level stuff.

I dont knoiw if it is a bug or not, but I do know I'm in a 2 hour queue for Void Ark.

It wouldnt be an issue if I could join hunt groups or lvl my companion though...
