Cotton Cloud Balls and Sphalerite high in demand?

In my first foray into Exploration I decided to gauge the demand for Diadem-exclusive materials. So far the demand and pricing for Cotton Cloud Balls FAR exceed the demand for the Spahlerite and Royal Mistletoe in my server. AFAIK CCBs are only used for Cloud Cloths, so is there any other reason for why Spahlerite isn't that high in demand?

Might as well ask but are there any mining hammer nodes in Diadem?

no, the price already dropped to wortless level in balmung. the demand is low because only specialist can make the recipe with that item.

last time i buy the spalerite is around 100 gil each in balmung, its so worthless.

Same on moogle, the price went down really fast
    And as a specialist I'm happy :3

Did like 4 cloud cloth each of them can be sold 200 000 gils
When I bought HQ cotton cloud ball for 800 gils/u

I plan to craft casting skypirate stuff that is sold 3 to 4M gils

They're garbage materials because the only thing anyone's trying to get in diadem are steel spoils.

I think this is a huge flaw with the system. I suggest adding more random crap to the nodes as rare stuff. Like every other node should have something "Rare" and/or "Hidden" in addition to the chance for a steel spoil. Doesn't even have to be all THAT rare, borrow a few of the uncommon things from ventures or gardening. Like Glazenuts. I think a 1 in 40 chance to get a glazenut out of a node would be fair since they've been gardened for months. Or even just adamantite ore. Can always use more adamantite ore. Hell, random collectables or moraines too. Tons of possibilities.

The thing is we need things beyond spoils to keep us coming back to Diadem. Right now the entirety of diadem and honestly the entirety of the crafting and gathering content this patch all leads to sky pirate gear, which doesn't have super demand.

Edit: the only thing stopping sky pirate gear from dropping down to the price of the crystals to make it is dinosaur leather.

They are a hidden item on mining/botany nodes and a possible catch while fishing. You don't need snagging to catch them while fishing, but I tend to get them more oftne on my miner/botanist anyway.
