Iroha saying that nearly made me tear up a bit, along with seeing all the allies and adversaries we made in FFXI. I would have probably unleashed the waterworks if they played Distant Worlds during it. I hated the direction XI went post-Abyssea, but Vana'diel will always be home to me. Even after 12 years.

It hit home for me, and the song they chose - at least its variation, was perfect. In FFXI the main version of that theme is "One Last Time". I instantly loved the main version that played when you finish Sandy mission 1-1, when I very first started the game. Hearing any version of it always gets me going, and its been awhile since I listened to Distant Worlds, but isn't it the same melody just with vocals? In any case hearing about rhapsody and this event got me (and a family member whos been gone even longer) going enough to re-sub XI and "finish" the story, 'one last time'. xD

Edit: just listened to Distant Worlds and yeah a portion of it is indeed 'One Last Time'.
