I'm hoping this is a temporary thing, similar to the Lightning/Snow outfits. Eventually those became dyeable.

I wasnt surprised that it's not dyeable, especially since it seems like it'll be a one-time only deal once it's over.
Other than all of those swimsuits, I notice that previous, but now cash shop rewards are being retroactively becoming dyeable probably since the cost/time to do so will actually pay off.

enough of glamour gear please you should be happy what square enix is give you but no you want more. mostly players on ffxiv that want glamour see be selfishs lot of players. there other players who want stuff to and what about the dev teams they want stuff for ffxiv. you give the playerbase one thing they ask 10 thing more without consider themself selfish with they demands

Not sure if this is a troll post or not.enough of glamour gear please you should be happy what square enix is give you but no you want more. mostly players on ffxiv that want glamour see be selfishs lot of players. there other players who want stuff to and what about the dev teams they want stuff for ffxiv. you give the playerbase one thing they ask 10 thing more without consider themself selfish with they demands
Wouldn't imagine asking for a simple dye function when implementing new gear is that big a deal, seeing as a vast majority of the gear was dyeable day 1 of the game as I recall it.
I agree this is a beautiful set and it needs to be dyeable! I was getting my hopes up with the last few events because I started to think SE learned from the past and gave us dyeable items. The summer and halloween items this year were dyeable rather than giving us 20 of the same items in different colors. I see I was wrong, they disappointed me with this patch.
For the life of me I will never understand why a dye and glamour system is put into the game but 90 percent of the gear is undyeable which makes it impossible to match colors/items together. There's no logic behind it whatsoever unless it is upgradeable gear like ironworks, eso, etc. I really wish SE would smarten up on this. There's no reason to deny players this option.
I have so many items I'd love to mix and match but I cant.
Undyeable gear: Starter gear, Almost all dungeon gear, Coil Gear, CT gear, WoD gear, ST gear, Hunt gear, Amatsu gear,
Artifact, Ironworks, Darklight, Weathered, Alexander, and Esoterics gear were all undyeable when they were released but they were later given the option to upgrade them to be dyeable through different means. Why can't all armor get this treatment?
If SE was smart, they'd add a function in this game to grind x amount of duties/quests or something to be able to buy a sort of "dye enabler" item so we could use it on items we wanted to dye. Ex: Do 5 low lvl roulettes and get this item, it would give incentive to do older content to be able to dye older items we weren't able to before for glamour purposes.

asking for something does not make you selfish. demanding it makes you selfish.enough of glamour gear please you should be happy what square enix is give you but no you want more. mostly players on ffxiv that want glamour see be selfishs lot of players. there other players who want stuff to and what about the dev teams they want stuff for ffxiv. you give the playerbase one thing they ask 10 thing more without consider themself selfish with they demands
this
was a request not a demand....the OP wasn't being selfish in this request they asked nicely. infact I don't see anybody in this thread demanding anything. maybe you should go post your anti-demands post somewhere there are actual demands?I love the new glamour items from the Maiden's Rhapsody, but I really wish the pieces were dyable so they're a bit easier to mix and match with other eastern sets (namely, in my case, the NIN Esoterics gear). I wonder if it would be possible for the developers to make them dyable, as they eventually did with the Guardian Corps and Bohemian sets from FFXIII.
that was what I thought too.

I don't really like this gear bar the skirt, but I do believe that EVERYTHING should be dyeable anyway <3
