Being a leech is one thing but the most annoying is Bad Dps... I(mnk) ran into 2 brd 2 mch... It took 5 mins just to kill one rank 2 mob and of course after slain many rank 4&5 on dino island we still didn't get even one chest ...

All those complaining that people are gathering rather than combating - have you ever assisted a gatherer by removing mobs from nodes? If you expect them to help with your preferred content, then it's only fair you help with theirs. It sounds like a lot like people are just trying to demand everyone do exactly what they want to do, with no intention of assisting with the goals others may have. This co-operation works both ways.

yes, and usually there is only one gatherer in 8 people, so if I divide my time up, the majority should go to the combat classes. But given that the only answer I have received(from the gatherer who would roll on everything) on the Aether server is that I should have thought of that beforehand and made a combat only PF group...

Also, flip side, I have not seen one person say, "Hey, I would like to do some gathering, could you help?" they always just go off to the other side of the map on their own, and get cocky when asked to participate. Thats why in my Pfs I have been taking to saying combat only except for the last 15-20 minutes.

You can report him for refusal to participate as stated in the OP.

Like someone said, just report him. And... don't post names on the forum. It can get you suspended/banned. ^^;

Adding a kick solves the problem much more effiecently. Literally had a person say he was hacking botting and se didn't

what i don't like in the greed what is below 210 is if someone break the rule, other get screwed.
i got this yesterday with a pick up group in pf.
It make me atm to not agree with this rule.

Gathering should have been left as a lone occupation for those of us who like lone occupations. ARR was a very solo friendly game, but HW is a forced-party game. I loved ARR, hating HW so far.

Whenever I go in to gather, I always go in as dps, and then I politely say at the beginning that I will help out on star ranks and such and I will not roll on loot I did not help fight. It only seems common courtesy.

God this is the classic expecting speed runs in DF all over again.

No it isnt. Let me give you an example. I had a party earlier today where a healer and a dps just let to gather. After awhile of not getting any gold chests because the rest of the dps couldnt muster up enough credit on stars someone left making it impossible to get credit on stars. Why are the combat classes there? To queue up for gatherers?

SE put in a system where you needed to do so much damage to a mob to get loot from it then let gatherers troll people to prevent that from happening.
