Premade from ishgard allows standard need/greed. Did that yesterday.

I guess we will have to wait and see what SE does with the exploration missions. This is going to be a big sticking point for a lot of people in respect to being able to roll on loot that you had no hand in getting because you were either gathering or no where near where the enemies were killed. It goes to the same concept of something like a pony farm like Levi where someone dies by falling in the water then still able to roll. When they get the pony you want to curse Rngesus

Gatherers can find chests, as well. Our group decided to harvest/fish in the last 10 minutes last night and found 5 chests in the process, including silver (normal mode). I think two were from fishing and the rest were buried near nodes.

We had set a time for them to gather and everyone was pretty pleased with it. It might not be the norm but you can't expect much from DF.

Not true if you PF and go in with a premade for Ishgard you can need stuff, did it the other day everyone kept needing stuff changing jobs to switch what they were needing on because some guy wasn't on X job.

We should be able to roll on what they are gathering. Also, ive been told you can roll need on something by switching classes before you roll.

So, healer pants drop you switch from dragoon to healer and hit need. Not sure if that's 100% accurate but if its true its bs. Someone from one of our fc groups said a pug did it last night.

Yeah you can't do that. Our group tested it out.
We killed an enemy, a Fending helmet and Slaying accessory dropped. Our tank switched to Monk and could not roll Need on the Slaying but could on the Fending still.

Also of note: after that, he switched to Fisher. We found more treasure coffers, and he could now roll Need on Slaying (probably because Monk was his last class). He could not roll need on fending

If it come from a chest you can roll on it. No roll on things that go direct into the inventory.

So many misunderstandings in this thread, wow.

OP is talking about going thru DF, not their fc.

-It's greed only for everything no matter what when you go thru ishgard
-You can't kick ppl for any reason whatsoever
-You can lot on stuff your party fights even if you were miles away

I'm in a run right now where a guy started off asking "Btw you guys a premade?"...several say no, he goes "gl then", changes to miner, still lotting everything, and nothing can be done except to join them.

So now half our party is gathering.

So you have 3 options:
1. Deal with it.
2. Can't fight em, join em.
3. Only go thru FC.
