I can't seem to buy anything from any market board

Earlier on I tried to buy some Wyvern Skins, and suddenly it stopped accepting my input. I keep getting locked out whenever I try to buy something as if I had tried to buy something that had just been bought that second, that happens sometimes. I thought it would fix itself, maybe just something to do with the new patch?

Except 10+ hours have passed and logging out, restarting the game, looking at different items, none of it works. I've had to have an FC member mail me things I need which is not convenient at all.

I've looked around and can't find anyone else who's had this error.

I also have this issue.

It started when I made a purchase on the market board. I got "unable to complete transaction" usually that means someone else bought the item first or the retainer was accessed. So I went back to buy from someone else, but the history showed I did buy the items and they were not in my inventory. Since then I get "Unable to make market purchase" anytime I try to buy something.

The same thing is happening to me. I was able to buy things just fine this morning, and then started having this happen. Been going on for over 6 hours now.

I too am without market purchases, and it's really fecking inconvenient as a crafter.

Have the same problem since yesterday night, and it doesn't seem to go away either. I hope they resolve this through the hotfix tomorrow.

I may have found a solution:
This bug occurred to me twice (I tried to buy an item, it gave me the error "unable to obtain" (or something), and then i couldn't buy anything from the Market Board). This could be because you're still doing a transaction of that item and you cannot make multiple purchases in the same second.
Try to change zone (different from the Market board where you bought the item) and log-out/log-in in the different zone. You should hear a money sound and you'll see the item in the chat log (and in your inventory). Now if you try to go in the previous Market Board zone your item will apparently disappear and you need to change zone again to see the item in your inventory (you don't need to log-out and log-in again).

Now i hope this bug will be fixed asap since I don't know what could happen if you change zone with full inventory and making impossible this type of transactions.

ok Iztooi's "solution" actually works.

I use quotation marks because I just happened to log out in Idyllshire lastnight and as I was logging on, I heard the gold clink (the sound of an item being bought or sold). I then teleported to Ishgard and checked if I could buy anything - I was able to buy some fire shards.

So thank you to Iztooi I think haha, anyone who's still having this problem - log out in a different zone and you should hear the clink. I hope this doesn't make SE think this is less of a problem, I can see this error occurring again sadly ;/
