So how was your Day One?

• Got 3 days worth of daily hunts done, and two weeks worth of weeklies.
• Picked up 3 Vanu dailies while I was doing that, didn't quite make it to 3rd rank with them though.
• Got Warrior to 58 while finishing all of that nonsense up.
• Got kicked offline for an hour because someone in the house thought it'd be brilliant to upload to Youtube during the day.
• Turned in or desynthed all of the unused Law gear I had laying around.
• Finished the MSQ, cringed at the Slasher Smile on the last enemy NPC at the end of the instance.
• Went to the Diadem, trying to get my party (premade!!) to stick together was like herding cats. Frustrating.
• Was supposed to go to Savage but our SCH didn't show and our MNK bailed halfway through Void Ark.
• Got Void Ark cleared despite low DPS and an alliance that barely executed mechanics, got the tank chest.
• Stayed up way too late and did the event. Never played XI, so I didn't really get the feels others seemed to.
• Glamoured my monk weapons away.

All in all not a terrible day.

[Odds_Ends]

First I did the new story quest, really enjoyed that.
Then I checked the out the new /sit poses
Then I had to sleep, and started on unlocking the new dungeons and so.
Need better gear to start on the new raids and so

I got off work late so I had a late start.
-unlocked the vanu vanu dailies. Need that dance.
-Finished main story to many feels
-Ran both new dungeons as tank. St. Mocha's was a cake walk. We blundered through it with no knowledge. pharos hard however hung us up a few times at the second boss. Till I accidentally found the missing mechanic off a Circle of Scorn.
-Unlocked Thoradan and Void ark to try tonight. And the Diadem will be a full fc run later this week.

All and all happy.

just after the servers were online i was with some friends in void ark for a blind run. was really fun.

after that we were blind with minimum ilvl in both new dungeons. me as a healer and the tank in full str gear, was even better than void ark^^ that's the difficulty i would like for dungeons.

then beasttribe, was okay...

and then island exploration. i really really hated it >.</ so the day started good and ended bad >.>

Tested the poses
Changed hair 3 times, tried the Afro and said no. It just looks too different from the normal hair styles.
Unlocked both dungeons but did Pharos with FC all first time, we wiped twice on each boss till we figured it out. The last boss actually took some figuring out but once it clicked, that was awesome
Did the ARK, minor wipes for being mostly new group, I mean 2 per boss sounds normal right? Got my Robe despite it being iffy compared to my Relic armor (the i200) but didn't compare while inside but loved the look, mixed with the Witches arms and feet I have to say its perfect glamour.
Tried Verminion, did the tutorial and said 'nope". I don't get the Mining mini-game in gold saucer, the tree one I do but "find the sweet spot" sometimes its when circles is smallest, others when its big? Kinda wish they would explain a bit about the game instead of just saying less swings give more MGP.
Ran through a fair amount of the story.

Will probably try the other dungeon once I get out of work.

First thing I did was inhale the storyline. Only about two hours of pure story content, which was a bit of a let down. Every moment of it was good though!

I took a break in the middle of it to run the Arboretum. That 2nd boss is a massive healer check. Ugh. As a SCH, I was able to help DPS most of the trash pulls, but I was flat out healing full time on the bosses.

I started the Vanu Vanu tribe quests because I really really want a pet Sanuwa.

Tonight I hope to get to Pharos HM and Void Ark. We're doing our first Diadem runs tomorrow as a FC.

I agree. 3.1's MSQ was great but it felt very short. Maybe half as long as I expected it to be. And that's tough for me because the story is one of my favorite parts of XIV.

Did both new dungeons, void arc twice and thorn ex until meteors phase. ^^. Not too bad I guess.
