    How to add Tenants?

    One of my friends doesn't know how to add tenants. Pls Halp QQ

    1) Must be on friends list.
    2) Go to the estate
    3) Open Housing Menu (From Social Menu) > Private Estate > Shared Settings
    4) Add new tenant (can add up to 3) from friends list and set access rights.
    5) Close Window - Tenant should get a message saying that they are now sharing an estate.

    this is important.

    my idiot friend kept clicking the Evict button at the bottom instead of closing the window.

    added a friend but can't add them for some reason...they dont show up on the list...anything I am missing? I have added one guest already

    Are they on the same world as you? Are you on your home world when attempting to add them as a tenant? Are you sure they accepted your friend request or is it still pending on their end?

    It's very easy to add a tenant then accidentally remove the tenant. If they're not coming up on your Shared Estate list, try adding them again. As WinglessSeraphim says, they must have accepted your friend request (or you theirs) for them to be added.

    I’m pretty sure they have to be on your world for them to be tenants, but I’m not sure.

    That would definitely be the problem. Characters can only own housing or be a tenant on their home world. Your friend would have to transfer to your world to become a tenant.
