PSN Connection Issues Not Resolved

Look out guys, there is a notification on the maintenance forum for another two days of "PSN" maintenance, on the 12th and 13th, so bang goes my option to play this week. I'd sure like to know what kind of PSN maintenance leaves everything but FFXIV working, sounds a bit specific to FFXIV and SE. I'm beginning to feelthe urge to ask for compensation since I haven't been able to play since before the patch and it looks like I won't get in before the weekend. I'm seriously pissed off now.

I'm seriously pissed off now.

You and me both. I'm at the end of my subscription and I'm not sure I'll get the chance to renew due to the possibility of me moving soon. I was taking solace in the fact that I could at least get to play some of the new content before my current subscription runs out, but now I've essentially been locked out of the game. The last few days of active subscription are being wasted because of this mystical PSN maintenance that isn't actually happening for any other game I have except FFXIV... which is the only game that asks me to pay a subscription to play it. This is total garbage.
