PSN Connection Issues Not Resolved

Earlier today I connected and upgraded my version.

As of 10pm EST I am getting the following message when attempting to connect:

A connection to PlayStation Network could not be established. Unable to launch FINAL FANTASY XIV. Please close the application and confirm any connection issues have been resolved before restarting the game.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

PSN connection is fine, chatting with friends in PSN chat without issue.
PS4 connection test, returns 38 Mbps down and 3.Mbps up both are a little slower for my usual connection but plenty good enough.
Restarted game - same error
Restarted PS4 - same error
