Have a modicum of social decorum. Can't you people ask politely for anything without being insulting? Also, there's already been threads on this topic, much less belittling one's at that.

OP is not being insulting, they're being frank. Saying, "Oh wow, I totally love the new lighting system but..." doesn't get us anywhere. The fact is that, while it's nice that SE tried to give us a feature lots of people wanted, because of the way they implemented, very, very few people will really be able to take advantage of it. If we want them to tweak the feature into something we can all enjoy, we can't pretend that we're happy with the system as-is.

Yeah, when I tried it out I was surprised to find it applied to all floors at once. Wont be using that feature.

"Borderline useless," no. I LOVE this, even with the flaws. Would I prefer a lighting level for each floor, yes.

I would just like to agree, and add that it would be really nice if lighting access was a setting that we could adjust according to rank. I'm keen to let everyone in my FC have access to lighting, but I imagine that would also give them all access to other functions and I'm not so keen on that.

Would like the ability to move the light fixtures them selves on the cealing. Would make partitions in personal rooms a little more visually apealing.

But my Dohman Partition has juuuust enough space at the top for my cealingfan. BARLEY, but just enough.
