Verminion Penalty for Tutorial ?

I couldn't even get past the 1st challenge. The damn system wouldn't let me select what I needed.

"Press the R joystick to select the A above the hotbar." *Angrily hits the damn things for 5 min then tries every other button while the tutorial spams me with that message every 30 seconds*
I couldn't even withdraw from the tutorial and I had to sit and wait for it to timeout. WTH are we paying MGP for tutorial anyhow? Gold Saucer is such a time/MGP sink -.-

It doesn't matter. It took me a solid minute or two before I realized that pressing the button to change it doesn't actually work, because it automatically switches it to gate A at that point in the tutorial and won't let you switch away from it. The tutorial is horribly implemented, and it seems to be far worse on PS4/PS3 where control issues also come into play when first getting started. I ran out of time barely into the tutorial, and wouldn't have even known I had missed the rest of it if it hadn't been for a FC member that I was talking to at the time who made it slightly further in than I did.....

Paying for a tutorial - Seriously SE? But ok, whatever, I wanted to give the damn thing a try. I try tutorial 1 and am hapily going along, not even at a slow pace - just reading the instructions and doing what it says and then suddenly it times out. The tutotiral which I had paid for did not complete because I got kicked due to a time out - so now I have no idea on what instructions I actually missed because the tutotial is not long enough. Lets not even start on how the controls don't seem to work as intended. I have no idea what I pushed to make it change gates, but it wasn't the button it said and I couldn't get it to replicate ever again.

If they are going to make me pay MGP for an incomplete and buggy tutorial, then I really don't need this side game as part of my experience and could do without the whole Lord of Verminion thing.

Lord of Verminion reminds me a little bit of a MOBA. That's kind of cool. I got my ass kicked in the second tutorial, so it'll take me a bit to get through that one.

This sounds terrible! A timer on the tutorial and a mega-long lockout on retreat from an NPC opponent? I read somewhere else it was frustratingly hard. :/

So my main question: is there even a reward worth playing it for, because now I'm not sure I wish to bother. I was really looking forward to it too, but I didn't have time yesterday.

I don't mind the price. The 100 MGP are fast earned again.
But the timer for the Tutorial should be longer to give also the slower readers enough time to read and to understand the tutorial texts.

The first time I tried the tutorial, it wouldn't allow me to do the thing that it was asking me to do and eventually it timed out and I lost my mgp. I got extremely desuaded from it but tried it one more time. The second time it worked but the time limit is so extremely short i didn't have time to actually read ANY of it and learn what to do because I would have been kicked out again and lost even more mgp. Please for the love of the gods remove the time limit on the tutorial!
