Don't open the forums then. The patch notes alone can be a good guide on where to start in the patch.

Honestly I'm not bothered by spoilers. I mean, people play a game they like they get excited and want to share. It's only natural. What bothers me is the extreme rage that seems to follow, targeting the spoilers like they just killed their pet of 5 years... I guess I'll never understand it. But then I tend to watch movie reviews of movies I've yet to see and, if I like the review, go to see the movie anyway even if I do know the gist of the movie before seeing it.

true. But some people don't like spoilers and are not as fast as other people.
I usually give a grace period of 2 weeks for big stories and 1 week for short stories before I start talking about it in the forums.

Similarly, it would be nice if people would restrain from spoiling the new fights and their mechanics for a couple of days at least. I just had a Void Ark run where one guy kept shouting at others about the mechanics and when people asked him not to spoil everything he repeatedly replied "lol I'm not gonna wipe for you". Luckily he left after the second boss and it didn't take the group any more than 2 tries to beat anything even without any advice. It's the first day of not very serious content, please let people enjoy experiencing it!

I was in a full PF raid where most people were new, and the few who weren't refused to spoil except for some very minor details, it was very nice and we still only wiped once. My suggestion for content like this - if you don't wanna get spoilered - is to just not do it on the DF for the first try (I did do the two new dungeons on DF but happened to end up with all-new groups both times, was fun, too).

Yeah sadly rage quits are happening already. Had a blackmage try to vote abandon the entire thing, was shot down so he immediately pulled the boss and quit. So we on Alliance B ended up with 1 less DPS but we actually LEARNED and did it with no problem the 3rd try. Amazing what a little patience does.

As for Pharos Sirius Hard, I admit we did that with my FC all new and it was actually quite fun. Walking into boss fights and actually looking around and trying to piece it together, so much better than just being told. The 2nd boss, I am amazed my theory was the right one

Last night on gilgamesh about 3-4 hours after the patch went live there was a PF with EX thordan saying must know fight/dps check.
