Darklander and crew were so two-dimensional I strongly suspect they're just primals based off the Warriors of Light from Cartaneau. That, and the dramatic, "We're all wearing black now," thing they've got going on.Lol, I meant as in an era a few hundred/thousand years back.
Still, I am of the opinion this is derplander and crew. If the people can forget the WoL (and us) then I am sure they decided to remain forgotten. Ascien magic? Or could it be one of their power of the echo to be able to remove or block memories? They unless they were fighting primals

I would agree, except when Koji said that Derplander was his own person and so were the people from the cinematics and that they were out there having their own adventures. He even suggested we may run into them come time, and we finally seem to have done just that. (Side note: This is what I thought would happen when we say Darklander on the moon (still confused about that one).)
I don't know why people keep thinking the WODs are primals or that the WOL him/herself is a primal. Considering how a primal being around ain't exactly subtle when they're just around, you would think at least one of the scions would have taken notice or that we'd be sucking the land dry everywhere we go. Don't give me that we're (including the WODs) are somehow special enough to be a primal, but without the negative aspects.

Well Primals drain aether form Hydealyn (the planet), We get out power form...Hydealyn (the crystal)I don't know why people keep thinking the WODs are primals or that the WOL him/herself is a primal....you would think at least one of the scions would have taken notice or that we'd be sucking the land dry everywhere we go. As for the Dark Warriors being primals, we do know that primals are not really the gods they are based off of, but figments of imagination in their image, made flesh.
Then again we don't know all the differences between a Primal and an Eikon other than age and the fact that they can apparently be substantiated without followers (and even that's a thorny issue since Zantetsuken tempers its wield to become the next Odin, while Bahamut had a graveyards of followers inside Dalamud, and yes it might as well been a graveyard, if not a personal hell, for the treatment of the Meracydians, but that's another topic)

Thancred suddenly become hottie with his beard and ponytailBut with the "preview" of 3.2 , I don't see Minfilia...

Don't forget the missing eye. Chicks dig battle scars.
As for Minfilia...welll everyone else has been confirmed alive. It would be really cheap if it turned out that everyone beside Teledji made it out alive. Even Nanamo. Sure Thancred and Y'shtola changed a lot, but we need at least someone dead. Might as well be Minfilia.
They stabbed my bae D: But he's okay.
Also, I find myself wishing Thancred had died.

Honestly, how quickly Aymeric recovered felt very much like a cop out.
