Curaga draw way too much hate!

So what's up with Curaga now? It draw a tons of hate, if you use Curaga and especially Curaga II there no way to get the Hate back. Now with 1.1.9 and mob linking a Conjurer just use Curaga II and all mob run up to the mage and there is no way to get Hate back, mob will keep attacking the mage that use Curaga II none stop until the mob is dead.

There need to be an enmity adjustment made to Curaga spell because right now it is useless, sure use it if you want a ton of mob ganking on you until it died. Right Curaga is the ultimate Provoke, it will provoke an entire group of mob to you.

No, you need to learn to be a better healer. There's no need to cast curaga 2 right away if you link mobs.

Because I'm a pretty princess you fool.

Here then. Let me explain what you should be doing, because for some reason it's so hard to be a decent healer and deal with the link system I've noticed in recent parties.

Before party starts, look at your setup.

see if you have multiple people that are able to tank
depending on how many you have you can either designate which people tank when you link multiple mobs, and have a "main" tank that the rest of the party will follow while the others manage the other mobs for the time being.

If you do not have multiple that can tank, sleep is your friend.

Only ever use Curaga II if MOST of the party has taken severe damage. If only a few people have taken minimal damage top off with cure II or sacrifice II.

If a few people have taken severe damage but the tank is able to maintain hate, just top him off, and worry about the others later.

    There. It's that simple.

I know how to play a Healer thank you very much, I been a Healer now rank 50 and play since Close Beta. I can manage Enmity just fine, but I just don't see the point of Curaga and Curaga II if we can't even use it? I never cure in the beginning of the fight, have you even use Curaga or Curaga II at all? Even if the mob is nearly dead and the tank is provoking it constantly using Curaga will make the mob turn head and whack the healer.

Sometime you just need to use Curaga, the problem right now is Enmity is so unbalance for Curaga. It is like asking the mob to come and rape you.

Amen to this! Curaga really does just provoke EVERY enemy that is currently engaged... it's a shame it's CON-only, would probably do tanking wonders if it could be used cross-class.

What is this curaga you speak of? Between AoE stoneskin and DD using bloodbath and/or second wind, I never need it.

I only cast curaga between pulls, if we really need it.

    lolKlive XD

But same. I've had absolutely no reason to cast Curaga in the middle of a battle while fighting multiple mobs because I have no intention of temporarily tanking. I still have it set in-between pulls because it's a fast way to get everyone back up. Mind you, my CNJ is only 36 so maybe if I was 50? I don't even see Curaga I/II going off doing the strongholds though.
