Yea, because bikini tanks, seasonal costumed DPS, bunny outfitted Miqo'te, and swarms of flying fat chocobos being led by cake on a fishing rod aren't already adding a bit of humor and lightheartedness to the world. I'm perfectly fine with them keeping the main story serious, and the content that directly goes with it as well, but don't even try to pretend that the world as a whole is "immersive and gritty". It's a Final Fantasy game. There's always going to be lighthearted and comedic things throughout the world, just not necessarily in plain sight. If people want to fly around on a giant turtle, then let SE make content like that, just so long as it doesn't make it into the MSQ.....
