Are you serious? THIS IS OF THE UP-MOST IMPORTANCE. SKYS ABOVE ALEXANDER FILLED WITH FLYING TURTLES. imagine."Popular request"? Where were the requests? I'm starting to think "popular request" means "someone on the dev team thought it would be funny".
There are a lot of popular requests on the forum, with some of them actually being fairly important. It's interesting how requests for a flying tortoise grabs the developers' attention, though.
HECK YEAH!!!

Yeah...it's pretty strange. I guess it could be something Japanese players are asking for frequently? I hope it's done relatively well though. They've done an excellent job at creating a very immersive and gritty game world and I'd hate to see them start throwing that down the drain - much like the creators of a certain popular MMO - because they start making stuff like this commonplace. There's a reason the Hildibrand quests and their 'humour' work best as something locked away in a specific group of side-quests..."Popular request"? Where were the requests? Mecha-Tama approves.
With this character's death, the thread of prophecy remains intact.
Yea, because bikini tanks, seasonal costumed DPS, bunny outfitted Miqo'te, and swarms of flying fat chocobos being led by cake on a fishing rod aren't already adding a bit of humor and lightheartedness to the world. I'm perfectly fine with them keeping the main story serious, and the content that directly goes with it as well, but don't even try to pretend that the world as a whole is "immersive and gritty". It's a Final Fantasy game. There's always going to be lighthearted and comedic things throughout the world, just not necessarily in plain sight. If people want to fly around on a giant turtle, then let SE make content like that, just so long as it doesn't make it into the MSQ.....Yeah...it's pretty strange.
