I want the REAL DRK aura!!!
Giving people the option to turn off this ugly aura is a band-aid fix, the reason people wanted to turn it off to begin with is because no one wants their character looking like red pubes are growing out of it.

If we had the aura we were supposed to get this wouldn't have been an issue and I won't let this topic die.....

don't bring the glamour issue into another thread, yes it's a problem, but attempting to derail a thread isn't going to help fix it.

I, too would have preferred the black flames, but I always thought the aura we had looked like parasites coming off us (Parasite frame on PSO, anyone?)

Sitting here.. waiting for maintenance n shit to end. Reading update notes, spinning in PC chair til i get motion sickness (1st world problems). Nothing interesting to read on forums. Then I see this post and I'm filled with hope again. NeEd MO BLACK FLAME AURA SON!!! Give it back Yoshi. AHHHHHHH! lol

But why not let us the playerbase decide for ourselves? They could add the black flames and if we do not like it, we can turn it off and go back to the red eyehurt thingy. This way its a win/win for everyone or make it so the black flames only show during combat. You go in combat, the aura comes out and when you are done fighting it goes away. When you are not in battle stance, there is no aura, when you are riding a mount there is no aura. Wouldnt this basicly fix the "it does not look right on a mount"argument?
