Void Ark.
Pro- trash is fun and not locked in a circular room. You automatically get the item for gear upgrade for the week when the last boss is killed. Requires you work with each other. Last boss all 3 tanks are needed.
Con- People think their gods and can face roll everything. You can't.

Crystal Tower:
+ Nostalgia
+ Music
+ Fun Bosses
Void Ark:
+ Beautiful area
+ No limited "rooms"
+ Feels like a FATE (far more fluid)
Now for the cons:
- I enjoyed the (spoiler) character that shows up to tell the story, but it didn't feel fully Final Fantasy to me while battling through the Void Ark. It felt like something very different until you got to the story at the end. The bosses had a very different feel to them, even for Void enemies. It felt epic, but it just missed something truly Final Fantasy about it. I can't put my finger on it.
- The mechanics felt a little less involved than previous iterations. I don't know if I liked that, it felt a lot easier to accomplish and I felt a lot less satisfaction when I finished it. I know it's intended for easier players, but every boss in World of Darkness was truly unique and magnificient in strategy.
I'm really hoping that the next iteration explores the Void a bit more.

- The difficulty. Even on day 1 people wiped 2 times at the hardest parts then listened to 2 little things like "please kill THOSE specific adds asap, they bring wipes; Please hide now" and facerolled it. I know 24 men is meant to be easy, but this is along the lines of ct2, with bone dragon, angra mainu and cloud being in different yet casual enough leagues. Im sure wod still has more fails than ark xD
- the loot. Its comfortable for the granted drop, but 1 run for 2 pieces and week done. It might have been the same earlier arr (probably, so unfair point), but when i started i ran ct triple for upgrade
- the alternative: unlimited 210s from diadem, no raid qualities required either
-> 1 hour to get new content done for all week. Alex took me more, and ct triple as well.
-> else gj. Pretty much ct 2 equivalent, so if they add next patches up to triple voidark and include a few mechanics, as well as make it average joes home to gear up, im sold. Looks and plays good.
I don't think i'm the only BRD out here that has to play the job because of static needs.Sure we all got used to this new playstyle that feels like we are driving a huge pile of shit without a steeringwheel, but that doesn't mean we enjoy it.I git gud and still hate
Pros:
2 pieces of gear per boss
Trash doesn't lock people out. Few exceptions, but those fall between trash and full bosses.
1 upgrade item per week no matter what. I liked that this was also done once all 3 CT were out.
I'm so glad they doubled the amount of drops compared to CT. Any increased chance of your item dropping is always welcome IMO. I do like how open the CT raids feel though, VA is closed-in but it is understandable given where it takes place but even then it's a hundred times better than the claustrophobic alex raid. Either way I have fun with it, if a friend needed to run it I'd match their class and run if I have it unlocked so they can get it.

A note on this, I found the first day/month runs in both ST and WoD to be far smoother than the ones that came after people had run enough to gear their primary class. After that amount of time, there seemed to be a steady decrease in the quality of players, ie. FATE tanks and the like showing up.- The difficulty. Even on day 1 people wiped 2 times at the hardest parts then listened to 2 little things like "please kill THOSE specific adds asap, they bring wipes; Please hide now" and facerolled it. My favorite color is purple.Alot of void ark is black and purple.
I was happy, no downside. Best 24 man thus far
Best answer yet haha. I liked it, still really love WoD though (or maybe not, finally did it again last week just for fun but was a bit bored half way through. I just love that first boss when the floor changes colour and then it screams out when hitting everyone on the opposite colour etc). This new one I found a bit chaotic at times, only done it once though but didn't wipe or have to restart any battle, so not sure if it was just a good group of people or what but seemed easier than WoD. Main issue was trying to heal the 1 or 2 DPS that would always insist on being at the total opposite side of the arena lol.
Void Ark
Pros:
1. Its more interesting than the main storyline lol
Cons:
1. In 2.x raids the boss fight arenas gave the impression of scale. I don't get that so much in Void Ark.
Cetus, Cuchulain, -> the arena feels so small for so many people its claustrophobic
Plant thing, Echidna -> The battlefields are large, but not used much.
It felt that 2.x raids did a better job of forcing you to spread out for longer periods, eg Scylla's orbs, flare, and having to stack on pads
In Void Ark I'm like "hey, get out of my way your blocking the view and all the telegraphed attack x_x"
