While that is true, LionFranco, I am just a little concerned that they take the game servers down BEFORE they are apparently 100% confident that the patch works and is ready to deploy.

Do they ever say 24 hours but go live sooner than that? Have they done this before?

I just started playing a week ago and I'm a bit annoyed at the 24 hour time frame for maintenance.

Except for Boris, who is new, I don't know why people are upset. This happens during every single major patch. They take the severs down for 24 hours before a new patch is to be implemented. If the servers come back early, great. If not, deal. I pay for the game too, and I also want to be able to play ASAP, but whining about it doesn't make it go faster.

Better get use to it, not the first time they had this long of maintenance doubt it will be the last.

Only for emergency maintenance. They wont go short so they can keep people from attempting to get around lockouts by bum rushing content.

As for the length, you'll have to deal with it. Updates this large only happen every 3-4 months. 3.11 and all patches until 3.2 will be significantly shorter.
