Turn on the patch server already

Look, I get that you don't want people to do a lot of data-mining by preloading the patch while the game servers are still up, but data mining will not allow ANYONE to get an unfair advantage now, as no one can get to the market boards.

So for the sake of those of us on slow connections, for whom the patch may well take hours to download, just TURN ON the patch server so we can start downloading. Please.

I agree with you entirely, but I don't think the team has enough time to see this post, contact the Japanese team in charge of that and get it done. Especially the case since they'd have to get Yoshida's approval, and I'd have to assume he's at home/asleep.

Actually, it was a part of the original game. Most of us went through it once, didn't care for it, then stayed all day in our Duty Finder basements.

The gameplay is very hit and miss but the graphics are lightyears ahead of anything a computer could manage ;P

Yeah, but it's fully PvP with no respawns, the characters are boring, and it's incredibly grindy. You also have to micromanage clothing to deal with your temperature variable and there's those annoying hunger/thirst CDs.

The NPC AI leaves much to be desired and most creatures don't drop any loot.
