I would like some help.

So hello everyone, currently I am working on 2 characters, my main and alt obviously. However, I am stuck on something and I would like to ask, this without getting the answer "Do what you enjoy." My main is a 38 DRK and I love DRK she is a jack of all trades but mains healer. While my alt is a 41 WAR 28 GLD and he is a tanking main. Should I continue tanking with him til I unlock DRK? or just focus on her for a bit? I know its a dumb question, but I really really love tanking now. I am going for all tanks.

I'd choose the DRK/Healer character honestly. There may be a point in time where you get so fed up with tanking you want to take a break from it. Sounds like you've already made that possible with DRK/Healer by having another class ready to go, whereas with your WAR/Gld, you'd have to start leveling something else before you can even take a break from tanking.

But yeah it's all down to what you want to do but the DRk/WHM combo is good, it's always good to have another role leveled in case your FC wana do something but you have too many tanks or healers and you can still join on the op.

For starters, I'd definitely do the DRK/WHM character. DRK is a heck of a lot of fun, and being able to switch roles there will probably be extremely helpful, as others have said. You'll eventually want to level GLD and MRD anyway for the shared cooldowns, but they aren't 100% essential for leveling content (except Provoke. Get Provoke ASAP if you haven't). That other character will be really good to level all the tanks with, too, since it will have all of the defensive cooldowns it could need (and become the fabled triple-tank).

Well here's a thing... there's definitely merit to what others say on having role flexibility. And maintaining an alt is a pain: You have to unlock everything twice, sometimes you have to gear twice, etc etc. If you think managing more than one job on a single character is a pain... it's much worse with an alt.

On the other hand... sometimes it is nice to have a getaway character. Or, some very hardcore people will actually raid on more than one character to get around the weekly lockout.
