Things need to explain: Bunny Ears

I need explanation by Dev and Community Rep. Since you guys promised "male will get gender-balance gear" from the Gold Saucer section thread:

Greetings,

Currently there are many pieces of male equipment that can be altered to be worn by the female characters, but certain equipment specific to females cannot be adjusted for males due to the differences in the character models.

However, there is female-specific gear (such as the head and hand equipment) that can be modified to fit with male character models, so we'll consider those requests based on the feedback we've been receiving. Also, we plan on creating more exciting male-specific equipment in the future to help the balance of gender-specific gear.

Then WHY DID WE GET ANOTHER BUNNY SUIT FOR FEMALE?! (More specific: Bunny Ears)

Does it matter? There's a male-only outfit being added too if you're concerned with "balance".

(Otherwise we end up with a bunch of trolls rushing in to make fun of us all for daring to want to have fun in a game. The main topic already has counter arguments for all of that stuff and we know the community reps are watching it as they're responding to our comments.)

But yeah, completely agree.

Does it matter? There's a male-only outfit being added too if you're concerned with "balance".

There is also another female-only outfit being added to balance that "balance" so complaining about the continued lack of a bunny suit for guys is still valid. And it does matter, actually, to quite a lot of us.

Yeah it sucks that the head items aren't unisex when they said they will consider modifying head equips to fit males, but telling lies about what was and wasn't promised helps no one.

That thread is actually about the bunny suit and the Minfilia costume (the 0-2 in the title is for those two costumes). A minority of people with female characters tried to take over and make it about Minfilia costume feedback but the core message is still valid - guys are being left further and further behind each time there's a new content update :/

The fact there is a male and female locked set this patch is a minor step in the right direction, yes.
That's one new set each.

Except; Female Characters get a whole new Gold Saucer set as well, Male Characters do not. We don't even want the whole set, we want the ears.
I bet that before we get the ears for male characters, several female characters will complain that they love our new male set and bang...guess what is unisex.

Except the quote was a response to our thread asking for bunny ears for male characters, way back when gold saucer was first released.

There is a big difference between demanding an explanation for a promise that was never made and asking why the stuff they said they were considering hasn't been put into effect.

Does it really balance when currently on Gold Saucer the NPC selling 2 "Bunny set for FEMALE" and 1 "Setzer set for UNISEX"?
