New crafted i185 in 3.1... will it temporarily save crafting?

Huh, I didn't know that. I've always disliked CUL so it slipped beneath my radar. I suppose we could see ARM not get any as well, though I'm still somewhat skeptical, since people already have chosen Specializations. They'd in a sense be putting a Red Scrip cost on anyone that had already chosen ARM for it. At least with Red Scrips, CULs hadn't already invested in anything that wouldn't also work for other classes at that point.

i spiritbonded 3 pirate craft stuff : 2 of them turn in IV materia, ther Other one was a V materia.
So yes you can use the pirates stuff to get V materia.
It's soon to say the drop rate^^.
the spiritbond is slow, 1 Diademe instance to got 90% for NQ pirate stuff and spiritbond potion, 1 diademe to get HQ pirate stuff 100% spiritbonded.
New dungeon give 10% spiritbond with spiritbond potion.
Din't try in Void Arch

well crafted gear can be HQed+meld with 2 materia in the safe slot for faster spiritbond, maybe farm with crafted gear is a lot faster (?). lets see the number when patch are up

No materia V to exchange only up to IV for crafting . Materia V it is available for war/magic

Yay!!! How much is it? Also two things confirmed one 1:1800 ratio for red scrip mats. Two i185 gear is specialist gear.

we are doomed lol

the crafted i185 have no materia slot, and the stats is just a little bit better than i180 crafted, and it need specialist just to make the item, this is not good

Omg I wasn't expecting this lol

I consider this new ilvl185 gear as "glamour gear" tbh, so the fact that it can only be crafted by specialists is no big deal. What really worries me is that we still haven't a good way for obtaining grave V crafting materia...and without those ilvl170 crafting gear loses a significant part of its value.

Can we at least spiritbond them and turn them into materia (V if possible)

Its made worse by the fact that all the new dungeons drop i185 gear. So yeah exclusively glamor gear. And still doomed.
