[2.0] Items that dropped directly from boss enemies will now drop from treasure boxes in the following duties:

The Bowl of Embers (Extreme) / The Howling Eye (Extreme) / The Navel (Extreme) / Thornmarch (Extreme) / The Whorleater (Extreme) / The Striking Tree (Extreme) / Akh Afah Amphitheatre (Extreme)

...And when you do something "unsynched," you get no items from treasure boxes, isn't that right?

Does this mean no more unsynched Pony Farming? Have to have a full party and complete the Trial synched to level in order to have a change to get a Pony?

You always get the ponies from treasure boxes. What changed is the mats that drop from the boss now appears in the chest, so you can get them while unsynced.

Nope, completely the other way around. You get the treasure chests, but not the random loot from killed mobs. Like the crafting mats that occasionally drop from primals (Garuda feathers and whatnot). Which is why they decided to shove those crafting mats into the chests as well.



On another note... You guys know how their excuse for keeping glamours class-locked has been that they don't want tanks running around looking like mages and all that?

I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry when looking at the screenshot they chose to use to demonstrate their multi-slot glamour system:

Look at what the ARM and GSM recipes require. Many require a mat that only BSM can make. So BSM is still alive.

..But isn't it already like that? Every recipe for the most part has a mat or more that needs to be made by another craft.

Any clue as to how the new gears correlate with the new contents ? Where can I find what?

Mist = Diadem Drops
Sky Pirate = Made through items gathered in Diadem
Void Ark = Void Ark xD
Heavens = Thordan
Stuff like "Plague" = New EX roulette gear

Gigas Axe and other low item level stuff are Gold Saucer cosmetics/recipes

Mistfall, Deepmist, and Mistbreak gear all have random appearances and stats, according to previous interviews and live letters. So the last picture is definitely Sky Pirate's gear.
