How about auto-equip button that maximises your ilvl given what you can wear?

Think about this:

Getting an auto-equip button that will maximise your ilvl given your class/inventory by automatically equipping the highest ilvl gear that your character can wear.

This will be useful for both new players and experienced players.

I remember as a new player I prioritised stat bonuses equipment gave me (eg +1 INT) over the other stats gear gave me. This lead me to sometimes wearing inefficient gear. An auto-equip button makes it easier for these players to know generally what's the best gear they should be wearing right now and soon they'll figure out having the highest ilvl is generally the best for them.

For more experienced players, it makes it much easier to gear out your alternative classes which you've given hand-me down gear for. Just press the auto-equip button every couple of levels to automatically equip what's best and save yourself a headache having to search through inventory every level up.

I'm looking forward to see my BLM being equiped with DEX rings just because the ilvl is higher...
Also highest ilvl is not always the best option to go, just think of the ACC cap or pentamelded gear.

I think the devs would be clever enough to implant a system that would check for the main stat gear associated with that class

I like the idea of this, props not when you change class but a option to when you have done.

So you change class, you then click on Equip Highest iLV gear then it equips all gear suited to your class with the highest iLV.
