Need a Ceruleum tank to do a FC airship exploration

Free Company Exploratory Missions
When undertaking exploratory missions using a free company airship, players must form a party of at least two people. Players can also form an alliance of up to twenty-four players. There are no role requirements for entering the Diadem as an alliance. Each party or alliance member must have a tank of mission ceruleum in their possession, which can be purchased in exchange for company credits. One tank is required for each mission.

These tanks can only be purchased using FC credits. The ability to use these credits is controlled, and usually not given to everyone (and not everyone is even in a FC). They can't be sold. I think they can be traded but I'm not sure.

Looks like getting a FC airship exploration PT together will be a PITA and particularly painful if you are not in any FC (such as might be the case if trying to fill an airship PT through the PF).

I usually buy 99 at a time and stuff them in the FC chest where people can access them as needed.
It's not very difficult to hand out. They're tradable and easily stacked.

Good suggestion. Won't help you when trying to fill out a PT using PF with those from other FC's and those w/o a free company at all will likely find it tough to get a PT to accept them.

Note that it is not the same tank that we use to send the ships out on voyages. (So don't go hog wild buying extras for exploration .

I'm hoping they might have meant *Grand* Company credits or I foresee some bitching ahead. What about those 'super-FCs' with, say 250 members, all wanting to go on airship adventures every two hours? That's a hell of a lot of ceruleum tanks & credits!

Mission Tank is only 80 credits, I don't forsee an FC having too much of an issue keeping up with those.

Players can also journey to the Diadem via Ishgardian airships. Players can undertake Isghardian exploratory missions solo or in a party of up to eight people. Each player of the party must have a mission ceruleum voucher in their possession, which can be purchased from the NPC Jaquoinie in the Pillars (X:14 Y:10) for gil. One voucher is required for each mission. There are no role requirements when entering as a full party. However, parties with less than eight players must adhere to the standard composition of 2 tanks, 2 healers, and 4 DPS."

For those in an FC, well, it's a matter of trust. Deal with it.

Seems to me that the best thing would have been to allow these Ishgardian ceruleum vouchers to also be used for the FC ships (and vice versa I suppose).
