Pick up the pulse Mateus!

I recently moved over to Mateus chasing some friends and found that the server is one of the lowest populated servers for Final Fantasy XIV!

While this isn't necessarily a bad thing, I was discussing with an FC mate if there was any way to breathe some life into the server before it needed CPR. SE could certainly follow the suit of other MMOs and have cross server game play or otherwise dissolve this olden' style server structure. While I very much like this game and know all of the above is possible I am not holding my breath.

Does anyone else notice the lack of activity on Mateus? What are your thoughts for curbing the issue before the server becomes like one of those towns in Bloodborne; full of a few crazies who just shout "YOU'RE NOT WANTED HERE" anytime someone wants to be social? Does anyone lament the lack of a pool of skilled raiders to sub in or make new teams? What about the more casual or older content? Is the fact that many servers have PFs with enough up to warrant a scroll bar and Mateus never does a bad thing? If so, any propositions on how to come together and pump up the jam?

We'd love to know what you think and would certainly love to make some new friends!

I believe that SE is in talks of merging some lower pop servers with one another. This server needs some more people, between the cricket chirps and RMT spammer jingle I can barely hear myself think.

From my experience the Mateus pop is actually content with it the way things are or it would have changed already and those who weren't left. Mateus has created it's own lane becoming a "Social Server" whether SE deems this a problem is up to them I doubt it is a priority atm as long as the subs are coming in.
Only 3.2 will tell.

It's become the social server because any FCs interested in End-Game/Raiding have long since left for bigger (hardcore-er?) servers.
