Wanting to transfer, had a some questions about going from NA to JP

Hi, I'm looking to make the transfer from an NA server to Tonberry specifically, as I've heard there is a large English speaking community there. I have a few questions:

1) Due to work scheduling, I am only able to log on after 11pm-12am PST (3-4am EST). On my current server, the servers are pretty much dead. Is Tonberry active at around 5pm JP time?

2) My Japanese skills are very minimal. Do you think a good Japanese language base is needed to enjoy and participate in PF's and such on Tonberry?

3) I am a very avid raider, but due to my late work schedule, raid groups are hard to come by. I've heard from a recent podcast that on JP servers there are several Party Finders teaching different phases of the Alexander Savage floors, unlike our NA servers. Are there many of these on Tonberry (or any Japanese server)? I would love to learn A3s and beyond, but nobody is willing to teach.

1. Not sure what the JP timezone is, but 12am PST is quite active on Tonberry. Our group raids around this time or later.
2. I don't speak any Japanese, and i've been fine so far. Usually DF's are full of JP players unless you want to wait an extra 30 minutes for English speakers. However, filling PF groups for extreme primals/raids is completely fine with English speakers.
3. There are plenty of A1-3S learning parties, and also people willing to join if you create one. There have been a few A4S parties that i've seen, however obviously not as frequently as the others.
