Heavensward PC US key invalid

So here's what happened. I purchased the HW US standard online and got emailed my registration key. My account is not steam. It isnt early access. It's just a regular US PC HW key. I log into the mog and click Enter expansion code and every time I do it says invalid. I tried entering it in early access and even item redeem just incase and it all says invalid. It is the registration code sent to me in the email. I quadruple checked it and tried it like 50 times over the next 2 hours and it still doesn't work. Does anybody else know what's going on?

They already have our money, there's nothing we can do. Someone might come and say "oh but, maybe your mog station account is not US". I suggest finding your original FFXIV activation code, and go to this link:

Go through each step and make sure you select Livechat. I don't know why it's currently unavailable, but it's most likely cause it's sunday in GMT.

When you get your support ticket and assigned personnel, I suggest taking screens of your mogstation and sending it to them to prove. Because for some reason everyone in SE thinks we're making this up, and trying to scam free codes off from them. So take a photo of your steam library to show them that you don't have the steam version as well.

Thats the best advice I can give you, hopefully things work out mate. I miss the days where you just check what region, buy it and after registration everything works. Which I'm sure is true for most people. But I guess we're unlucky.
