I find it amusing because Blizzard just announced wow is getting Diablo 3's transmog system. Loot an item? Soul bind it (equip) and boo , unlocked appearance. Feel free to vendor/delate/DE that item now.

It's also retroactive in terms of quests. It's going to unlock all the quest rewards (Even the ones you didn't take) for every quest you've ever done.
Even more amusing is that such a system is not new. Heck, it wasn't even new when ARR launched. Saving appearance skins in a wardrobe/database/whatever is a GREAT way to clear up inventory space, improve character customization, and generally just improve player quality of life. If SE implemented such a system and also moved all tokens and currencies out of the inventory and onto the currency tab, the situation would be vastly improved.

I've resorted to putting things on the MB for huge amounts of gil to use it as extra inventory space, if someone actually buys it at that price, well good for me. I'll be able to buy it with no worries. Not dishing out more money for the extra space.
By limiting inventory space and selling "optional" retainers, SE has managed to find a way to make players pay a monthly subscription fee of up to $30 a month.I know this has been mentioned many times, but seriously we are suffocating on inventory space and as patch and patch come by it'll only get worse.
I know there are answers to this already that it's something they are working on but server space is a limiting factor.
All I want to ask is this: exactly how much is SE prioritising a fix to this problem?
Are we only going to see an answer 3 patches away? Or is something going to be done really soon?
How much of a priority do you honestly believe it is to "fix" that "problem"?
I suspect their biggest concern in this department is how to rent even more retainers without coming across like complete hypocrites.
Sorry, I love this game, but the limited inventory excuses combined with the claims of database problems that seem to magically disappear for an extra $2 a month are just the biggest pile of B.S. :/

And to add on this this what are they going to do if everyone suddently bought a retainer? i can bet you there will be "no problems" if that happen, Money fixes everything.By limiting inventory space and selling "optional" retainers, SE has managed to find a way to make players pay a monthly subscription fee of up to $30 a month.

I'v never bought that sad excuse, This is only going to get worse with future patches, They will HAVE to do something by then.
Even World of Warcraft is getting a wardrobe UI that stores gear appearance that you have gotten from quests, dungeons, etc in Legion so would really hope that the Final Fantasy staff would seriously look at giving us a similar feature to help with our storage issues.
Been playing this game since 2.0. I have 6 jobs past 50 and 4 of them at 60.
I have every raid and tome set excluding FCOB and Alex Savage for Dragoon.
Five sets of tank gear. Four sets of Ranged gear and two for Ninja.
I have sands and oils o time. Crafting mats. Food. Potions and random crap.
My inventory is only half full and I still have 1 empty retainer and 1/4 of a retainer inventory bailable. I don't see this as being a big problem for a lot of the community considering most throw away a lot of stuff.

I have been playing since, well April 2014. I have one job at 60, one over 50, one at 15, 5, 39, 38 and 17. All DoH at 50 or 51, DoL at 59, 59, and 51. Both Retainers full, MB full, about 7/8ths of my inventory full. So what you're saying is I should play like you? Sounds familiar.

I was under the impression that 3.0 will grant us additional retainer, I guess they went the lazy solution and under deliver in just about everything, not to mention a patch that is about 5 months late. I seriously hope this is just one time thing and we can all move past forward and the next patch will come by early March 2016.
