I never argued against that, I actually said the same thing in my post a bit further down..xD
I just found the OP a bit..problematic because there was this hidden criticism that all people who want speedruns don't know how to enjoy the game when, quite simply, they might just enjoy it differently

I've done my fair share of tanking with all 3 tanks at lvl 50 (not 60 because I main healer and dps, but they'll get there eventually), I've complained on the tank forums about exactly this issue before..but I also think that taking the first step as the tank can prevent stuff like that from happening most of the time. I got into the habit of ASKING people pretty much right away how they want it, be it leveling dungeon questions like "do you want all monsters pulled or a fast run?" or others like "healer, do you think you can heal the big pull here?".
Well, and that of course combined with some observation :3
At the entrance I take a quick look at everyone's gear level to see if big pulls are a possibility, depending on classes and gear of the dps, the first pull is small to mid-sized, basically as a test how well they do on it. Depending on how fast the monsters die and how much the healer makes me worry, I adjust my speed to somewhere between super-slow with small pulls and enough time inbetween for the healer to have full MP again, to going all out
That way, people rarely feel the urge to run off and pull extra mobs.
