Cash shop and the situation with the game.

I find it funny how people get so upset over glorified pixels that has absolutely no value or meaning.
The optional items are like optional items you can pick up at the store when shopping. You sure as hell don't need it, but you might want it anyways and have to pay extra to get it.

people need to stop the mentality "Oh i play pay to play games, i expect i can get all of game content easily, because i already pay for it". not only for this mog station item, but all just about overall content of this game. this game is pay to play, not pay to get anything in this game.

With that mentality they should start locking raids behind a $20 paywall, we don't deserve anything but the overworld. Airship exploration? Hmm, $40, it's a new system. Lords of Verminion? $15, it's a mini-game anyway. At least the "It's just a visual item" has some reason to it, this mentality? Well let's just say you've been promoted to Elite White Knight.

No one is asking for it to be made easy to get. It could be a MGP reward, story, veteran reward, crafted.

They need to limit these cosplay outfits somehow. I don't want to see 500 Minfilias in the same area. It happened once with Lightning's outfit and hairstyle and shouldn't happen again. Making it cash shop exclusive is fine for me.

Probably, but as you said, that's just you. I'm sure that alot of others would still be mad about FFXIV not having it.

To be fair, the last time I saw anything but the hair was...goodness, two months ago? Might be a bit of hype at first, then it'll settle down. And I reckon the only reason the hair is still ragingly popular is because it fills a niché that's basically empty otherwise.
