Monitors go to sleep while playing

This issue seems to occur at almost random times. I've been watching my temperatures on my graphics card and it usually floats between 69-73 depending on instance. It's a GTX 980. I use two monitors, but only play on one of the screen. I usually play in windowed full screen 1920 x 1080, and have my settings on Maximum with my frames limited to 60.

Both monitors just simultaneously lose signal and refuse to turn back on without me holding the power button down on my computer and completely restarting it.

This issue does not occur on anything other games. That I play.

Happens to me only if my monitor is set to "Powersaving" on the same card. Hope this helps.

In line with what Lemage said... check your power settings all around. This likely isn't the monitors themselves. It also could be a video card driver issue or faulty hardware.

It may be worth taking a quick peek at the windows event log to see if there are any hints.

Also, are you playing on DX9 or DX11? If DX11, try on DX9 for a while and see if that stops the issue.

I've been playing in DX11 mode. My hardware seems to be fine, it can run any other games without issues. I played MGS5 the entire day while maint was happening and never encountered an issue. I'll check to see if there's a power setting somewhere, but I dunno if I missed anything. In my power options i have my screen set to never turn off, and my computer to never sleep. I've also disabled hibernation if that helps. I've tried 4 different drivers as well, so not sure if that's it. It really only seems to occur during playing this game.

I am also having the same problem while using a GTX 980, multiple monitors, and DX11. This issue only started since 3.1 and sometimes crashes the display drivers even after the client has been closed.

It does not occur with any other game. I will post any errors or driver info when I get the chance.
