Let's guess what happens in 3.1 MSQ from the quest names!

Let's guess what happens from the quest names!

    1) An Uncertain Future
Sets the plot to expect for future story. Definitely lots of talking and fetch quests.

    2) Breaking the Cycle
Cycle of what? Ascian immortality? Primal summoning?

    3) Another Time, Another Place
    Parting with someone?

    4) In the Eye of the Beholder
Hopefully this isn't a reference to another Coincounter boss type...
Most likely something to do with Nidhogg's eye.

    5) A Little Slow, a Little Late
Sounds like we are too slow and late to save someone!
Based on her not being available for Triple Triad anymore, Tataru being captured/killed?

    6) Dreams of the Lost
    Lost = The other Scions?

    7) Against the Dying of the Light
Dying of the light = Hydaelyn's weakening power? Warrior of Darkness becoming stronger?

    8) As Goes Light, So Goes Darkness
Sounds like 3.1 will end with the Warrior of Darkness becoming stronger.

    Any guesses?

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
    Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME

Maybe this quest is about Ser Aymeric stabbed with knife?

    An Uncertain Future
    Everyone is confused.

    Breaking the Cycle
Someone who isn't Alphinaud takes charge.
^ I cannot emphasize the importance of this chapter enough

    Another Time, Another Place
    We time travel.

In the Eye of the Beholder
The future is full of cyclops.

A Little Slow, a Little Late
Lag. I assume it came from the Ninjas.

    Dreams of the Lost
We discover the roots of Minfilia's narcissism and decide she should stay lost.

    --SRS TIME STARTS HERE--

That's it for the funny ones, I usually look at the MSQ quest names and try to think of some funny/light hearted stuff about them. But I don't really have ones for the last two, so I'ma be serious for them.

Against the Dying of the Light
To me this seems like trying to reverse a death. "Against" is a really odd word and to me it makes it sound... physical. Like we are preventing or reversing something that happens. Light makes me think of the Warrior of Light, so maybe we are preventing our own death? [EDIT] Or maybe another sacrifice in order to protect us from death? If so, starting to feel like Life is Strange with the WoL marked for death.

As Goes Light, So Goes Darkness
When I first heard this title, I thought maybe it meant that we were going to be shadowed by Derplander (perhaps Derplander is even a shapeshifter of some sort? And has actually been there the whole time?) and there was going to be no actual confrontation. But because the last chapter implies (another) possible death, I'm wondering if maybe the death might be at the hand of the WoL. Meaning that "as goes light, so goes darkness" is kind of like saying "not everything is black and white". Perhaps this might even be the start of the player choosing if the WoL follows the path of good vs a path of evil (it was suggested a couple times that people want more freedom to pick and the ability to be slightly more evil).

    8) As Goes Light, So Goes Darkness
1)After realizing they missed the first circle in their SAT test, they realize it's to late to do the whole test over again and are now uncertain what their future in education holds

2)Angered by the weight SAT have on their education they make a stand to fight back against how useless SAT are

3)Unable to succeed in their rally they are given a chance to take the SAT again at another location

4)Their eyes more fixated they make certain not to make their mistake again

5)Spending to much time thinking of answers rather than moving on they realize that they ended up completing only 50% of the test

6)Nightmares are had later that not on failing a second time

7)The light towards education grows dim, helpless as to what their choices may be

8)With education looking like a lost cause they contemplate turning to crime in order to make a living. . .

The game has decided to be more topical and deal with issues faced by many in education, a very bold move indeed.
