Absolutely! I love playing my PLD in PVP, but if my party doesn't have a single healer, we're almost certainly going to fail. Having even one person willing and able to switch to healer can make the difference between a win and a loss.
I've got a few STR accessories, just so that I don't completely embarrass myself in the damage department, but for the most part I focus on stun locking, protecting my teammates, pushing the enemy off points/cliffs, debuffing healers and capping/protecting nodes. Even with STR gear, you're still going to be hard to kill (in part just because it says "Paladin" above your head, and people don't want to waste time killing tanks), but if an enemy team decides it's time for you to die and focus fires you, you're going down, and having a VIT accessories is only going to make a difference of about one second of life.2. I'm currently playing PLD for Frontlines. I know that STR = deeps and VIT = annoying, but from what I have seen is that PLD excels at stun locking and soaking damage. I wanna wear STR to help kill quicker, but at the same time I am feeling that VIT helps with getting to the back line and stunning casters/healers. Which is better for PLDs in Frontlines, STR or VIT accessories?
I honestly didn't find it much worse than any of the previous ranks. I think the PVP rank grind gets overblown by people who just want glamour gear and don't enjoy PVP for the PVP itself. As far as Wolf Mark spending goes, by the time you hit rank 50, you'll have far and away more marks than you need for one full set of gear, or even two. Personally, I bought my full sets before I could equip them, just to make sure I'd have them, and then focused on getting "useful" gear. Gear in Frontlines isn't a make-or-break deal, and in a lot of cases, PVE gear actually has better stats than the PVP stuff.I've heard that the grind from rank 45-50 is real. Is it possible to get a full left-side pvp-set from ranks 45-50 alone (i.e. can I spend my WMs on random stuff until I hit rank 45)?
