Hunts, again? Really? *drama starting*

Sigh, why are people bashing the OP for making his own thread? That's what the forums are for. The only reason people shouldn't be making their own thread is when they've basically copy and pasted another one and have no other input.

The whole hunt system is terrible, rewards for no amount of effort but spamming heavy shot or a few medica's, and needs to be entirely reworked. It barely caters to the 'casual players' when you practically have to drop whatever you're doing and literally race to a hunt, to then find it at 20% HP and get less than half of the credit. This is even the case on tiny servers.

+10 to your common sense. Now I wish it'd spread to others who need it, as fast as The Well Informed arrives the second to a hunt (The first is The Scout Dog)

............Why are you comparing company exploration to hunts? You do a buttload more things in explorations. In fact explorations would've been alot better if the exploring factor wasn't butchered with a damn to-do list. Whats the point of going to these new mysterious lands if we can't discover the s#%$ that are mysteries to us?? We already know what we're looking for!! That's like half the exploring right there!! Another idea with untapped potential.

The hunt idea is what hunts should have been in the past. Explorations would've been different too. Btw its was the first time I looked at that picture, super disappointing.

YES.... It's never enough... I mean. I thought they already had enough feedback with 2.3 and 2.5, but, no, they went and did the same with HW expansion.. I thought it'd be because they were too tired doing the awesome expansion ( I loved it, except the way to upgrade stuff from laws)... But... Now..... AGAIN?

At 770 seals/week from daily hunt and an additional 100 seals/week from weekly hunt, you can progress quite well without joining the zerg at all.
The Clan Mark Log cost 500 seals each, and the upgrade items will probably cost 3 or 2 logs depending on if it's for armor or belt/accessory that you want the upgrade item.

That's less than two weeks for one armor upgrade and a few days less for a belt/accessory upgrade. And that's in addition to how often we can upgrade through Void Ark.

Don't do elite hunts unless you think it's fun to do...

The soldiery upgrade items were 3 and 2, then when poetics were added it became 6 and 4 I believe... Probably to offset that people had capped seals by then.

If only those that enjoyed hunts would do it there would be only a bunch of lunatics hunting the marks, but since it's the only way to get said items without a weekly cap the whole server is there bashing buttons having LOTS of fun.

Well then, do you NEED to obtain the items faster than the capped methods would allow?

Just because it's possible, doesn't mean you should aim for it...

And with island exploration taking up peoples time I don't think it's going to be that bad with the elite hunts.
