I was sooooo happy when I read that!

It is indeed a good first step. Of course RMTs will now start spamming other chat channels, but those are very easy to filter.

Next is "You may only send a /tell to 5 players per 24 hours. Players on your friend's list do not count towards this limit."

Unless the limit is account wide.

A smarter design would be multi choice options..

"do not receive tells"
"do not receive tells from anyone but friends"


"do not receive friend requests"
"do not receive friend requests from anyone besides friends of friends"


This right here stops it 100%.


Alternativly, disabling tells from any1 under level 10 or so helps a lil.

I guess the RMT differ from server to server. Personally I have not had any RMT /tell or friend requests in days, weeks even. Well, to be honest, I got a /tell 2day, but other than that.
