Ok, let's see your trade-off. Circle Of Scorn offers 250 potency every 25s.
Overpower is 120 every GCD, so, on these 25s, you can use it ten times for a total of 1200 potency.
And for DRK, Unleash is 100, so you would accumulate 1000 potency for theses 25s...without counting Salted Earth...or spamming Abyssal Drain with Dark Arts during Blood Price...

I'd really like the same comparison on mitigation to explain how PLD would be at least four times better than DRK or WAR.
