How do these changes fix the issues with Paladin?

It's pretty much a skill that sits on his hotbar that he uses rarely.

He has all his moves perfectly set up on his controller and will not sacrifice those moves for shield swipe even after the update.

He said he can hold hate fine, though he's bummed out over they didn't remove shield bash off same timer as fast blade.

Though shield swipe is so useless, I don't even use it basically sits on my hot bar unless I want to use it and that is rarely.

I don't think people really use that on controller.

I don't use paladin my cousin does he told me to say that.

The only thing I care about is them moving Fast blade off the same timer as shield bash.

70 DPS is more than enough damage to care about, over a 10 minute fight thats 42k damage on a oGCD skill, not using it is lazy as hell.

He doesn't realize what's he's missing. Also, I use a controller and I have my Shield Swipe attached in a macro to another attack in my rotation so that I'll always use it when it comes up.

Paladins have the best stuns in the game lol, what.Literally a spammable stun until the enemy is immune.
Paladin is the best option to bring for lots of stuns.


The real issue is that since almost every other class has an OGD stun, and nothing can be stunned more than 3 times in quick succession, you can simply coordinate stuns instead of using a pld

Haha 33,000 Damage over an 8 minute fight isn't enough to worry about?

I think it must be Shield Bash that got a TP reduction. If Swipe is now just a CD.

By the sounds of it they've given us more damage through OGCD skills, more damage uptime, and less punishing stuns.

A3S costs a fortune on your TP if you have to stun several mobs.

Have you ever seen a WAR do a dummy fight and then a PLD do one? PLD needs TP and this is a decent balance in my opinion.

PLD goes TP dry pretty quick if you are pushing damage with little downtime.

So in a nutshell they increased PLD dps by 10 potency/s and reduced Goring blade TP to offset what you would have gained by using Shield Swipe before (40 TP skill)

Don't forget the 15 sec. Recast Timer now on Swipe.
Actually I'd asume it is overall a small DMG increase to Paladin as you can oGCD Swipe that will now bring additional DMG.
