Well, hunts are a content that require zero skill and only time to get the rewards, so it's not a surprise that SE want's to encourage it.

I cannot wait for all the drama and /shout wars to begin once again.
Gonna take out the pop corn that's for sure.
IN FAT CHOCOBO WE TRUST
Not sure what this will do... ?
I rather dislike the drama that Hunts bring in. I don't enjoy the zerg so I stay out of it, but the drama is pervasive regardless. There's the Hunt /shouts:
"A rank at X,Y"
"Pulling at 12:05"
"Party inc, don't pull"
"Pulled"
"Dead"
Let the QQ begin in just one of the scenarios that sets Hunters off.
Shouting matches become so unhealthy that I switch chat channels or even teleport away entirely. Confrontation sets me on edge, even when I'm not involved, and when overworld areas are rife with it, it really brings down my experience. Shame that there's no middle ground. Hunts are either desirable, and hotly desired by everyone, or they're not, and become neglected.
Its only the armor upgrade item, not accessories, or weapon.
So its not as big a mistake as in the past.
I never understand why using hunts: why not instead using pvp as a method of getting these items? Pvp is as dead as it can get and I'm SURE many will start ramping the PvP queues if these were the rewards. But hunts?
I would say "who cares about hunts", but I honestly don't know any other benefits of hunting. Why not make hunts for glamour stuff instead? They could make hunts for anything!
Oh well I'm definitely going to ignore this again.
As someone who cleared a2s for 2 months and had crap RNG on gobcoats, I'm glad I'll be able to get one right away now.
That being said, it is kinda goofy to award SAVAGE raid drops from open world hunts. Maybe they figure that many people aren't clearing anyways lol
Wait.. It does say Carboncoat.. That has to be a typo ??

It'll be bad for a week, but I don't think it will be quite as torturous as the original release. At least now we have the daily hunt bills and the weekly mark. 4 days plus your weekly will get you 500, and since you can't earn enough eso to get more than one piece per week, with any luck there won't be quite the same level of aggression once the initial rush is over and people have upgraded their mains.
I had two weekly hunts to get the other day. Found the A and S in both zones, no one cares. It is funny SE "You will do this content even if you hate it attitude."
Balmung has a few miserable people when it comes to hunts. It is not fun to be in a zone where they are hunting. What is strange is I never really see these people being miserable anywhere else in the game. I am not sure how the japanese servers handle this, but the NA/EU ones can not handle hunts with any real reward in a civilized manor.
