i've been saying the PVP thing for awhile too. but there's no reason to take it out of hunts, the more places it can be the better. hunts are not bad if the crowd isn't so large and if there are other viable options it will automatically thin the herd.I never understand why using hunts: why not instead using pvp as a method of getting these items? Pvp is as dead as it can get and I'm SURE many will start ramping the PvP queues if these were the rewards. But hunts?
I would say "who cares about hunts", but I honestly don't know any other benefits of hunting. Why not make hunts for glamour stuff instead? They could make hunts for anything!
Oh well I'm definitely going to ignore this again.
I cannot get my head around why people are complaining about this. You CAN get these items from somewhere else. There's 3 ways to get them it is NOT just by doing hunts.... It is OPTIONAL.
Void ark
Airship explo (210 straight away)
Savage
Hunts
People are gonna be doing airship explo MORE than hunting.
Sorry for repeating myself by some people need to get a grip and enjoy the game. Patch 3.1 looks promising
just move on and don't do them then
im personally going to hunt a lot
better than sitting around in empty Mist
Glad I don't need twines anymore. Hunts are the most ridiculous content in this game.
Hunter X Hunter I & II LS Reborn!!!!
And once you've done alexander savage for the week... back to doing hunts, because it's really one of the only things you can do. Heck, if you could make it, you'd be better off leaving alex savage just to do a hunt mark.
If they really wanted to make hunts optional, they should have made it share a cap. Make it share a page drop with the alex savage and then you'd really have a choice.
Because hunts difficulty =/= savage difficulty
At least they said void ark will be around a1s/a2s difficulty
But they've already done this multiple times, so yea, there's no reason to be complaining really.
What's the point of the system then? I thought it was meant to be open world content. Force pops are still open world content... Better open world content if anything, since I'd imagine those pop items would have to come from somewhere...
Dangerous open world content? The fact that there is no claiming system defeats the point of that, when something goes from 100% to 0% in a matter of seconds because the entire server is on it... Well, they've only ever felt dangerous solo, so by giving them this kind of demand again, they've defeated that purpose again... To newbs and gatherers, they've only ever been a nuisance, they occasionally get in the way and perhaps cause the zone to lag out as the whole server piles in on one spot... Nevermind the drama they constantly cause in shouts...
Unless Hunts were specifically designed to reward people for minimal effort, and create a generally toxic environment... I don't see how force pops would defeat their purpose... I thought the entire point was to get people using the open world, rather than it being a glorified lobby for the Duty Finder, force pops doesn't change that at all... Whatever twisted point random spawns like this was meant to serve, I'd gladly see it gone anyway... Force pops lets individuals and groups enjoy all Hunts has to offer (not just the lame Mark Bills), it lets SE actually balance the mobs, and it is generally just better for the entire community. I'd much rather have numerous groups working on different Hunts as they like, than having the entire server swarm from zone to zone, creating drama when ever anyone dare pull "early".
