As MT in a raid you weren't really using it *anyways*.There is nothing in the patch notes which impies that it does not require blocking. Even if that is the case, as a main tank it's considerably weaker as a result of this change since it won't be as freely available. After all, it wouldn't be the first ability which has an activation clause. We've had Mercy Stroke for a long while now.
Everything in raids is immune to pacification.

"Flying Mounts
By attuning to the aether turbulences found inside the Diadem, players can use their mounts to fly. Please note that your attunement to these currents will be lost upon leaving the Diadem, and you must attune to them again should you return."
This sounds... kind of annoying if there's like... 10 aether turbulences to attune across a wide map that'll take like 30-60 mins to find and you have to attune to them every time. Even worse if the locations are randomized.

In the pic it says 0/3. Not bad."Flying Mounts

And it gives you that Dynamis-y feeling of doing some prep work to unlock the cool shit for the zone.
Yoshida said it takes 5-10 minutes to attune at most, you start on a random island on the Diadem you have to find 3 on that island, not spread out across the entire map."Flying Mounts

I know this is hard for people to wrap their heads around, but the world doesn't revolve around raids. Raids make up a tiny percentage of the total game at the moment, and there are plenty of enemies in other content which are still vulnerable to pacification. And, by the by, there are still enemies even in Alexander which are vulnerable to pacify.
Still, I don't understand this mentality of "you weren't using it anyway, so let's make sure you never want to use it again". How is that logic? Surely if it's not being utilized to it's fullest, it should be buffed, not nerfed! I don't really care if I'm in the minority of players who actually use this skill regularly. There are Scholar's out there who never touch Eye for an Eye, and Bards who never touch Wanderer's Minuet. The fact is that, for me, this change is going to severely limit how often I can use this skill, and that cannot be considered a benefit.

edit: nvm someone already responded about Reprisal.
Also, I'd share with my alts for the cheap teleport alone.

Wish that ability to buy i120 upgrades with poetics came faster. Like when I was leveling my classes. xD oh well.
I don't exactly like the idea of using seals to buy upgrades again. But eh I'll get used to it. Glad void ark allows us to get stuff too.

Nobody sold the i180 crafted gear because it cost insane prices. Tripling the amount per scrip is gonna reduce the price by at least 2x, and with law being exchangeable for mats (and everyone who's been there since HW not needing law for anything), the price should lower even more. Making the i180 possibly below 15 million now.So, I hear that with Law tomes being exchangable for Scrip mats, I hear this pretty much kills off the relevance of favors too? Some of my friends were NOT happy with that given they turned stuff in last night. I wouldn't know, I don't craft seriously.
Summoner first, Scholar second...but mainly crafter.
