I am kinda confused. When a member leaves/get kicked does that mean people who decide to leave the instance while "looking for new party member" is active will then get penalized for 30 mins, too?

As it stands now, as long as one person leaves/gets kicked the rest can leave with no penalty.

Some good changes here... but why'd they have to mess with my Shield Swipe?!

Is now an ability and does not trigger global cooldown.
Recast time has been adjusted to 15 seconds.
Potency has been reduced from 210 to 150

In short, it's weaker, and has a potentially much higher cooldown. All for the sake of taking it off GCD? GCD is like 2 seconds. Having it on the GCD was a GOOD thing from my perspective! This change is pretty devastating in my eyes, because it really hurts the whole point of having a Paladin who can freely shield swipe to pacify targets using AoE.

...to say little about how this is going to reduce our overall damage as a result. Gee, thanks SE. If you wanted to kill off my Paladin for good, why didn't you just give her Mijin Gakure, so she can at least blow herself up at the same time?

Mijin Gakure would involve giving paladin dps, which paladin cannot have, even in death.

OGCD and a cd means likely don't need to block to use, making it useful to OT, where you couldn't use it at all.

There is nothing in the patch notes which impies that it does not require blocking. Even if that is the case, as a main tank it's considerably weaker as a result of this change since it won't be as freely available. After all, it wouldn't be the first ability which has an activation clause. We've had Mercy Stroke for a long while now.
