Regarding the part in the 3.1 patch notes that say players can send 5 friend invites

Per day. I'm a little concerned because I thought of a workaround already. What about party and linkshell invites? Obviously we don't want to limit party invites, but is there anything preventing them from spamming either of these type of invites?

Well, a bot would need to create an entire linkshell. Its easier to decline linkshells as well as its more obvious when its a bot. Feels like more work than reward for them tbh.

Ehem.... Yeah, probably something like that will happend. The party problem is specially difficult to solve,,, a similar limit to linkshells shoudn't be hard to implement. Maybe only being able to invite friends to linkshells? xD

They could do in like the Old XI days where people didn't know you can invite people to party without having the flag up lol. They could set it up that newbies can only invite people with Party Flag up. Idk of anyone who uses that feature in XIV tho...
