when guides usually start out with Auto Attacks are "fluff" damage tanks should be pushing there dps when there isn't a "Tank Buster" thats usually a good start for hey this encounter is just dps check oriented

Yeah I noticed this as well. I was an enchanter back in EQ and we were part of that game's holy trinity.
The lack of support classes and abilities is something that makes FF lack, even when I like so much else about the game. There is no real crowd control. I don't even bother having Repose on my bar anymore. I never used it. I DPS as a healer because I don't have enough in my toolbox to do otherwise when everyone is topped off. I would love support skills to maintain like Haste, or the Nul- or En- spells. I know the En-spells exist in game. I've seen NPCs use them. I would definitely get behind a change in healers that let us fill a firmer support role in the party.
I'd love more buffs for my bard side, too. But I'm used to things like EQ bards and they are a much different animal.

Well, we have AST's cards.
Short-term buffs like Haste, Dmg+, Def+ and the like. Yeah, they are RNG and you can only use them every..20? seconds or something, but their micro-management is closest to what you seem to want from a support type healer![]()
