    They sorta did this with Alex NM already, but it was out geared really quickly. Saw enrages + several wipes on my first runs though, and the forum had topics where people said they couldn't get through A4 and PF was all "experience needed."

    ...though even now none of these fights are a guaranteed win. Plenty of chances for DF to make everyone go splat.

    Yeah there hasn't been a week I've gone into Alex normal where I haven't seen a wipe on at least one of the 4 wings. Heck the other week I had a group that wiped on faust once and the oppressors twice before we downed it.

    I don't think it's really the same. The entire raid was face rolled in hours and any wipes you see in here are typically because people aren't paying attention to extremely basic things like picking up adds in A4 or not paying attention. There ren't any hard mechanics here, they are on the level of crystal tower difficulty if not easier.

    An option to prevent people from instantly leaving as soon as their equipment doesn't drop would be to let ALL gear drop on ALL the bosses. Getting your desired loot would still be just as random as before but everyone would stick around until the end to have the chance to get their desired loot.

    Four-man Dungeons
    Regarding a hard four-man dungeon, it will be hard to implement as the burden on healer will be intensive.
    I like a good challenge on my healer..<3 Do it, please!

    Ivl 179 minimum? Uh, I guess I'll have to throw more stones at my secondary classes to get their gear to the point where they can participate in that .-.

    Holy shit, I knew the clear rates were low, but that is ridiculous!
    Maybe SE should take a clear look on WHY people haven't bothered to finish it. Judging by the forums, difficulty is just one part of it. The lack of other motivation might play a big role, too...

    Job Adjustment
    This is basically saying "We know PLD sucks right now, we also know WHY it sucks and what would need to be changed to fix it...but yeah, no, we are not gonna do any of that "

    Looking at the current expert instances.

    If everything would be done like designed, the healer is around 30% busy by healing. Maybe less.

    What are the other 70% for in the mind of the designers?

    Compensating mistakes!

    In the current expert dungeons its nealy impossible to fail, when you have a good healer.

    A hard 4 man would mean, the healer would be busy maybe for around 80% by healing when no mistakes will happen.

    So there is a much lower amount of room to comensate.

    With most content, not even with others failing I have to make an 100% effort as a healer.
    So I'd totally love something on savage level, just with 4 instead of 8 people, because I personally find it kind of tiring to take care of 8 people.
    That's why a really difficult 4-man dungeon would be just perfect for my tastes

    They need to just do:

    Story mode = Story + no rewards. Easy difficult so the more casual players can experience the lore without having a static.

    Normal mode = Difficulty maybe something around ScoB with echo. Good gear rewards, will probably require a static until overgeared and put into DF. Nerfs possible.

    Savage mode = Hardest difficulty for the hardcore. Static required. Best weapon and gear in the game. No nerfs. No DF.

    Savage must offer better gear. Period. Or else it will be ignored by 99.9% of the population.

    More like Story Mode = Alexander Normal 2; Normal Mode = Savage 2; Savage Mode = Savage 3/4
